borrowed this vcd for xiangyun a very long time ago
finally got time last nite to sit down n watched it.. heard it was pretty good when my frens watched it years back..
it's abt a man who told exaggerated stories about his life, all his life.
until his son feels that he doesnt know him at all.
but i guess it's always more interesting and cooler to feel that u have lived ur life in a real imaginative way..
at his funeral, when all those characters of his stories came alive.. well as much of a fact as they were fiction.. it was q overwhelming..
i liked the show, together w all it's color n beauty n imagination...

it brought up an interesting concept about death...
edward says to the witch w tt glass eye that foretells ur death, "I was thinking about death and all, about seeing how you are gonna die. I mean on one hand, if I was to know, it kinda screw you up, but it kinda help, couldn't it? Because everything you know you could survive"

if i was to know how i'm going to die, then i can go ahead n do all the most dangerous things in my life, rite? cause i wont die from it.. haaa but well it doesnt mean i cant become handicapped/disabled.. hmm
but i'll b scared all day trying to avoid tt thing tt caused my death. will i?
oh well, no point pondering over it rite? cause i mean it's pretty hard to find a witch amongst HDB apartments in this time and age, isnt it?

aft watching the show, i googled Matthew McGrory, cause i was wondering how tall he is in real life. i found out tt he once stood at 2.29m tall, cause he had got acromegaly. i also found out tt he passed away in 2005 at the age of 32. pretty sad huh. feels abit too late to find out now, but well hope the big guy RIP.

well edward bloom is probably a big fish.. can i be a big fish too?
