AMK is where i grew up.. it held our my childhood memories n i really like the place.. but after moving away for almost 8 years.. it's so so different now..
but the feeling of it all is still pretty much the same i guess.. i saw jubilee being built.. used to hang ard the arcade aft sch n at hang ard macs w meirong.. then there was the first gen of bubble tea in bubble tea restaurants where we go try
then there was the market where my mama ll bring us there often n buy cny clothes frm tt goodlooking uncle at the shop haaa
i used to think he was damn shuai when i was young but the last time i saw him he still looked pretty much the same just tt age has caught up w him
cycling to the market to buy breakfast on holidays w my dad n bros
library w xy to borrow all the christopher pike n r.l. stine.. now u cant find these good stuff in the libs liao
haa they r the bks tt influenced much of my compo writing when i was young..
had a penchant for writing horror stories.. my cc compo teacher seem q impressed w all the piano keys playing on their own. apparitions appearing. n intestines hanging frm branches on trees haha
but lost my horror stories writing flare aft going to sec sch where it's more impt to train up the nonficition part of compo writing haha
anyway.. long afternoons of aimless wondering ard amk new town were beautiful memories of childhood spent w xy (sometimes yilong her bro too) haaa

and then we went to sun with moon jap rest for dinner!
it's a pretty nice place just tt we waited damn long for our food to arrive..
our hot sake was the first to arrive.. n it wasnt too bad
it's cute tt they allow us to choose a cup we like n think the container for the sake's made of stone..
aft a long time the food came.
we had this rice thingy.. kamameki (or something, cant really rem the name) but smells real nice..
i like my cause the rice had a strong unagi taste to it of coz w unagi. and lclam
n xy's was hotate rice
the sukiyaki was FANTASTIC.. we think the beef's real good.. n i have to go bk there for it again..
i love sukiyaki! had it in japan w my host family both times i went over so it brings nice memories
soft tender beef in raw egg v nice soup tastes real good! haaa
altho it was q alot of $ spent but the good food's worth the $ la i think hee
then we went for icecream downstairs at haarto.
it's this place like azabu sabo lidat... n i got strawberry champagne icecream tt was q nice.. xy got black sesamee.. haaa
n we braved the eve of christmas eve crowd that was scary! to shop abit more before heading for amk to help my bro get some stuff...
oh on our way to wheellock we pass by some student buskers.. n they were playing Canon w strings, violin viola cello it was pretty good! :) reminded me of my blue bananas busking days during rgs' art fest one year hee

us at mind cafe! haaa we spent 4hrs fmr 2-6pm playing all sorts of board n card games..
some were taxing n need to strategize/ depend on ur memories, others are just purely based on reflexes n v exciting

went kbox at paradiz centre w wenhann jenheng n chekwun (behind the camera)

oh well, then me n xy went about and bought each other a x'mas gift

and she got me a pair of earrings tt i can wear frm tmr too..

we talked abt the past n present n future and suddenly i realize tt she is prob amongst all the frens, the one most like me!

n we have this habit of looking at the things we want and dont bear to buy it for ourselves n eventually ll buy it for our frens and b contented w the fact tt we bought it and gave it to our good frens.. n never own it in our lives! haaaa

n when she said "u still lick ur spoon!" while we r eating the meesua i just burst out laughing.. tt's the beauty of old frens, they know ur weirdest habits n aft so many yrs still rem them.. n my little habit while i drink water.. just like how gang knows my kfc-eating-preferences inside out..

i had such a nice time today!

today was another day of fun.. i laughed so much i'm feeling real tired right now..
went out w my 2 tudis and wh.. haaaa to klunch at paradiz centre.. ohmytian pple who think i'm mad think again haa
some songs they just lost it.. it was hilarious n i had to hide in the corner to absorb all that was happening before bending over to laugh out loud! haaaa
but yea it was fun going ktv w them i think.. they r the funniest.. but i stayed rather composed. hee someone gotta stay sane right?
then we went to play lotsa games at the mind cafe.. it was damn fun!!
must bring my other frens there too.. wat a nice way to spend a whole afternoon.. learning new board/card games.. some were q taxing to the brain coz u need to strategize to wind.. some were just damn exciting as it tests ur reflexes!
i really like all the games! the burying of vampires one was rather exciting so was the 5 animals 5 colours and penguin card games haaaaa
must go again!
n it's nice tt their staff r readily available to recommend new games and teach u the rules on the spot! so u can learn many games in a day :)

but i was damn paiseh at the store today tired like 4 diff flavours but still cudnt decide.. so i was rather panicky haaa.. i wanted the rum and raisin but it was too soft to make into a cone.. n the sales person was rather cute coz he offered to let me try cookies n cream in an attempt to help me decide haahaaa
but well it's too boring to eat cookies n cream i think n i'm not tt big a fan so in the end i just decided to b adventurous n buy passionfruit W/O trying haaaa coz too paiseh already.. it turned out rather refreshing but a tad too sour..

today i accomplished quite abit before i went out.. including writing a couple of letters to japan :)
and in the afternoon i went to check out meidiya again w ah zui.. haa
bought this little bk frm kino, too bad my iryu's not out yet.. should be out before x'mas guess i'm a couple of days early..
then ahzui intro me to this jap curry place that was really nice! the curry smelt real good.. gotta bring my frens go try next time.. and we watched eragon.. haaa
the film's q cute the dragon was really cute when she was a little baby.. but just like us humans, when it grew up abit then it became uncute liao haaa.. and the dialogue were quite blatant i feel.. w the ending leaving us abit cheated, but nevertheless i guess it's worth the $ and rather entertaining la.. :)
gotta get up early tmr so better go sleep liaozz

Finally took some time to watch this movie at night. Wow.

Serene first told me of the storyline a long time ago, maybe years back, thus i know what to expect but it still surprises me right at the end. Maybe my own imagination of how the story will turn out wasnt vivid enough, but the collage she made out of pills at the end, was really freaky.

on this cold night of december, to watch this show all alone in the middle of the night, brings on an even greater "chills down my spine" impact.

thanx ser for the recommendation. you told me it was my kinda of movie. you were right. freaky n mayb even morbid, right?

i guess the cotton wool collage man was scary but the nicely colour-coded pills man was worse.

think it hits me more by introducing possibly cons of being a cardiologist haaa

and the girl was diagnosed with erotomania.. with all her delusional symptoms (wonder if we learn more of this is psychomed)..

and the pills that she never took.. how is it tt she became sane and smart enough to recognize the fact that pple want her to admit that she is delusional and she did it, not because she was cured but just that she figured out that was the way to get her out of the institution.

sigh, wonder if we shud refrain from being too nice to pple? haaa that should not be the case, but you never know when u would be the next victim? with ur career ur baby and ur health taken away from you..

thus i'm feeling damn happy that i made the decision to get them..

so here's my good buy at ikea today.
came home to help my mama make tangyuan coz tmr's dongzhi i think.

i almost forgot there was another thing i accomplished today.. i managed to get the harddisk tt i bought yest to start working! cause my and my erge tried many times but each time we connected the usb port the com could sense it but the drive doesnt appear on My computer.

so i decided to call the store to enquire.. and realized tt they forgot to give me the instructions as to how to format the harddisk, which must b done before it can b used.. at least for the one i bought. the manager told me how to do it briefly but coz i didnt have windows service pack 2 he told me i gotta bring it down to the store where they'll do it for me.. but i checked my desktop and found tt it has the function so i called again to get help to fix it at home. the sales person sounded rather impatient n i was getting q pissed off.. luckily the manager was kind enuff to walk me thru the steps and YEAH! i finally got it fixed n i cud start using it.

it cost 100+ and my dage has kinda sponsored it.. heh heh so i got it as a x'mas present! thnx!!

n then in the evening i went 2 tampines again for piano class

on my way out i observed the rain q abit..
i like it because it makes ripples on the ground
i like it because it reflects light beautifully
i like it because it made the evening sky become this pretty shade of purple this evening..
i was standing at the bus stop waiting for my bus looking at the torrential rain
and i sudden got reminded of my childhood

it zoomed bk may 10+ years ago..
prob pri2 when i was in morning session... we used to arrive at sch real early, when it's still dark
n on such cold rainy days
my mama ll make me n my bro wear raincoats hold umbrellas and go to sch in slippers
when we reach, we'll sit at the reading corner/little library at the corner under the main staircase on level 1 opp the girls toilet.
where my mama ll make us sit there, while she help us dry out feet and put on nice dry sch shoes
all these trouble just to make sure tt we dont have out feet stuck in soggy shoes for the whole day and so tt the shoes wont get too dirty too

i dont know where this bit of memory frm long ago came frm
but it's rather heart warming i guess..

rainy days make me feel sad, and i think everyone shud try to get home to stay nice dry n comfy
but not everyone's that lucky.

haaa me and beng after piano class.. the rainy days making it a very cold Christmas this year.. it's so chilly everywhere
and i told beng my habit of eating cold stuff on cold days.. haaa
so ICE CREAM!!
